Allied Insurance celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special event titled "Allied 40: Milestones and Momentum" held on Monday night, celebrating with long-time customers who have supported the company’s growth.
The event was attended by a large number of customers and was aimed at fostering engagement and sharing ideas with those who have contributed to the company’s achievements over the past four decades.
Allied also took the opportunity to unveil new product plans scheduled for launch this year, including:
- Critical illness cover
- Cyber insurance cover
- Employee liability cover
The company said these new products are being developed with a focus on addressing the changing needs of today’s world, offering customers broader and more relevant protection.
During the ceremony, Allied rebranded its Islamic insurance branch, previously known as Ayady Takaful, to Allied Takaful.
This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Sharia-compliant insurance division, which continues to cater to customers seeking Islamic insurance solutions.
To express appreciation for their customers, Allied presented each attendee with a special home content insurance plan covering household items worth up to MVR 150,000.
Additionally, three lucky winners received a one-year worldwide travel insurance plan (excluding the USA and Canada), which covers medical expenses, travel delays or cancellations, and delayed or lost baggage.
