MTCC's work on Fodhdhoo's harbour has begun

MTCC has begun work on a project for N. Fodhdhoo's harbour.

MTCC is set to develop the following for the harbour:

- New foundation for the harbour

- 3,990 cubic meter area of canal dredging

- 145 meters of outer canal

- 165 meter revetment

- 130 meter canal on land

- 125 meter long and 6 meter wide jetty

- 600 square meters pavement

- Lighting for the canal and harbour

This project has a cost of MVR 49.77 million.

Fodhdhoo has a population of 504 people. MTCC has said that the lack of a harbour has been a point of difficulty for people who live there and for people who travel there.

They have also said that since local tourism is up and coming on the island, this will be a great boon for them.

MTCC is currently working on multiple large projects such as this.
