Dhiraagu renews partnership with Dhivehi Red Crescent to support humanitarian efforts

Dhiraagu has renewed its partnership with the Dhivehi Red Crescent (DRC) to continue supporting the organization's Partners for Humanity Initiative.

Through this initiative, Dhiraagu will provide sustained support to the DRC’s humanitarian services, benefiting vulnerable communities across the Maldives during both emergencies and normal circumstances. These services include first aid, psychosocial support, and disaster relief.

As part of the renewed collaboration, Dhiraagu will also assist in training Red Crescent volunteers and supporting DRC units in various capacities.

Bishara Hameed, Dhiraagu’s Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, expressed the company’s pride in contributing to the DRC’s national efforts, stating how they have assisted in building resilience and helping communities across the country.

The Dhivehi Red Crescent expressed appreciation for Dhiraagu’s continued support over the years, stating that such contributions are vital in ensuring timely and effective aid to the most vulnerable during times of crisis.
