Dhiraagu has decided to lend their aid once again to the Care Society's 2025 Vocational Training Programme.
The program aims to empower students with disabilities by teaching necessary skills that will give them the freedom to thrive in their future endeavors. Dhiraagu renewed their partnership with the Care Society's Vocational Partnership Programme during last Friday's "Pop-Up With A Purpose" event held in Rasfannu. The event had bakery stalls, an arts and crafts corner and game areas. The event also showcased the talent and creativity some of the students possess.
Dhiraagu has been aiding the Vocational Training Programme since its inception in 2018. The Care Society has stated, as per last year's progress report, that 22 students have seen significant improvement due to the training program. They also said that the students' independence, along with their social and communicative skills have also increased.
This year's training program saw 27 students sign up. Important life skills such as socializing, problem-solving, cooking, arts & crafts and computer literacy will be taught.
Empowering youth and children with disabilities is one of Dhiraagu's CSR initiatives. Dhiraagu continues to aid such programs regularly.
