Maldivian partners with Hahnair to expand global ticket sales

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced a partnership with Hahnair, enabling its flights to be sold globally through Hahnair’s extensive distribution network.

With this collaboration, Maldivian flights are now available in all major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) under the Hahnair Technologies X1 code, allowing travel agents in 190 markets to book and issue tickets using the standard GDS process on the insolvency-safe HR-169 ticket.

Hahnair currently partners with more than 350 airlines worldwide.

Maldivian said the partnership significantly enhances its global reach, making it easier for travellers around the world to access flights to and within Maldives. The airline added that leveraging Hahnair’s established network will strengthen its efforts to provide convenient and reliable travel connections to one of the world’s most desirable destinations.
