MIB launches ATM service in Dhuvaafaru

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched an ATM service in Raa atoll Dhuvaafaru.

The ATM was officially inaugurated yesterday by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held on the island.

According to the bank, the ATM will provide 24-hour cash withdrawal and deposit services.

MIB said the ATM forms part of its broader effort to extend banking access across the Maldives, particularly to islands outside the capital.

The bank noted that many of its services are also available digitally to improve accessibility and convenience.

These include instant account opening without visiting a branch, interbank money transfers through internet banking, and cardless deposit services.
