Villa College, Atmosphere Foundation sign MoU for Engineering Scholarship

An agreement has been signed between Villa College and the Atmosphere Foundation (AF) in order to build up skilled individuals in the engineering industry.

Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najeeb signed on behalf of Villa College, with Vice President Abdul Azeez Abdul Hakeem signing on behalf of Atmosphere Foundation.

Villa College stated that the agreement signing will aid students in achieving higher education, and will give scholarship opportunities to those who want to pursue engineering in Villa College. Villa College also stated that under the agreement, a proper framework will be developed in order to run and maintain the scholarship program.

Under Villa College's and Atmosphere Foundation's partnership, a total of three students will get three scholarships from Villa College for the January intake. This includes two scholarships in the Foundation in Engineering and one scholarship in the Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

The scholarship will provide complete financial aid for the students in the form of course fees and other miscellaneous course expenses. This scholarship is specifically for those who have been unable to pursue an education due to financial constraints. With this scholarship, Villa College and Atmosphere Foundation recognize that it will facilitate the production of educationally excellent and technically proficient youth.

The awarding of the scholarship will have its own set of regulations determined by Villa College and Atmosphere Foundation.

Atmosphere Foundation will provide opportunities such as mentorship, career planning and industry exposure to students who are chosen for the scholarship who want to progress in the education field.

Villa College describes this as an important step in building up capable engineers who can contribute to national development once the students have finished studying, have acclimated to and are ready to go out into the workforce.

Villa College said that their aim is to always provide higher education and training of good quality to students. Villa College will be the ones responsible for running and maintaining the scholarship and for shouldering administrative responsibility of students and related matters.

The scholarship will be open for application sometime next week.
