Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has signed agreements with additional partners for this year’s Maldives Maritime Conference.

The agreements were signed with four conference partners at a ceremony held at MPL’s head office. Newly signed partners include:

  • Logistics Partner: Maldives State Shipping (MSS)
  • Broadcasting Partner: Public Service Media (PSM)
  • Hosting Partner: Villa Shipping & Trading Company
  • Magazine Partner: Maldives Maritime Journal (MMJ)

MPL said the conference is also supported by the Coast Guard, Ministry of Transport, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the International Association of Ports and Harbors. The Maldives Police Service will serve as the security and safety partner, while Maldives National University will participate as the academic partner.

This year’s Maldives Maritime Conference is scheduled to be held on April 15.

The conference, first organised by MPL in 2024, is an international platform that brings together global experts, industry stakeholders, and key institutions to discuss developments and share perspectives on the maritime sector.
