Applications have been opened today for slots in the temporary local market being established in Hulhumalé specifically for the upcoming month of Ramadan.

According to the announcement by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the submission of application forms and the subsequent draw will take place next Thursday at 3:30 pm.

Stalls will be awarded through a draw among eligible applicants who submit their forms.

The application forms are available on the HDC website. This temporary market has been constructed in Hulhumalé Phase 2, situated between Vinares Tower 8 and the temporary mosque in that area.

A total of 15 stalls will be issued from this location, and they will be provided free of charge to those selected through the draw.

HDC noted that this initiative is part of their broader efforts to prepare for Ramadan, aimed at ensuring that residents of Hulhumalé Phase 2 can easily access various types of fruits and vegetables.
