TC Sports Club emerges the winner of the U19 Youth Championships

TC Sports Club has defeated Super United Sports in a penalty shootout of the finals held last night with a score of 5-4 and emerged the champions of the U19 Youth Championships for the first time. The final match of the championships held last night at the Galolhu Stadium had ended in a draw without a single team scoring a goal. Both teams had advanced to the finals without losing a single game of the tournament. Mohamed Izan Ali of Super United took home the Golden Boot for the top scorer of the championships. Meanwhile, TC's Coach, Ahmed Nimadh (Nima) was crowned the Best Coach of the championships while Maziya Sports and RC secured the spot of the Fairplay Team. This competition marks the third time since Football Association of Maldives (FAM) had begun the U19 Youth Championships with the first held in 2018 and the second in 2021.
