First Lady commemorates STEM Fest 2019

First Lady Fazna Ahmed, on Friday, inaugurated the two-day Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Festival 2019 held in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale'.

The festival, organised by Women in Tech Maldives, is planned to act as a platform for youth to showcase STEM-related products, link vendor and create awareness over opportunities available in the region.

With the participation of 20 exhibitors, the festival is hosted by Housing Development Corporation with digital partner Ooredoo Maldives, printing partner Sketch, beverage partner Happy Market and logistics partner Asia Forwarding

Women in Tech is a non-profit organisation that, per their mission statement, works to inspire, empower and celebrate women in science and technology.
