Maldives State Shipping launches direct cargo service between South Maldives, India

Maldives State Shipping (MSS), on Tuesday, launched its vessel 'MV Bonthi-II' on its maiden voyage to Tuticorin Port, beginning its direct cargo ferry service from southernmost Addu Atoll and Thinadhoo, in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

For cargo bookings, interested parties can call MSS's hotline '7309700' or e-mail MSS at '[email protected]'

According to a tweet by the Hithadhoo Port Limited In Addu Atoll, the decision was welcomed as a move that increases the affordability of common goods within the region.
