Stabbing at Hiyaa Flat leaves one injured

An individual was stabbed at Hiyaa tower on Wednesday evening, December 6.

Police report that the victim has been transferred to the nearest hospital and is receiving treatment. However, details of the injuries have not been disclosed.

While one person has been stabbed in Hulhumalé on Wednesday evening, a series of gang-related violence broke out in Addu City on Friday and again on Sunday, with one victim in serious condition.

Addu Police Station has strengthened security in the southernmost city and subsequently launched a joint operation with the South Police Division and the Specialist Operations to quell any future altercations.
