Masjid Al Nabawi Imam and Khateeb Sheikh Salah Al-Budair has today attended a children's event held at the Islamic Centre.
He met with students from some preschools in the Male' area at an event held at the Islamic Centre, with the prayer hall filled with young children.
The ministry said that the event proved to be immensely joyful to the children who attended.

Sheikh Salah Al-Budair also expressed pleasure at having the opportunity to spend some time with the children and wished them a prosperous future, the ministry said.
Some students who attended also recited Quran at the event, showing the Imam their skills.
The Islamic Ministry said that Sheikh Salah Al-Budair's visit is amongst the ministry's efforts to invite leading Islamic figures to the Maldives.
Sheikh Salah Al-Budair also paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu earlier today. He was also taken on a tour to see the Islamic Centre and the Friday Mosque.

Sheikh Salah Al-Budair will be delivering a special sermon at 8:15pm at the Islamic Centre on Thursday, which will be translated to Dhivehi by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.
He will also lead the Maghrib and Isha prayers at the King Salman Mosque on Wednesday night, April 23, and the Isha prayer at the Islamic Center on Thursday night, April 24, as well as Friday prayer at the Islamic Center on April 25.
