The family of Hawwa Yumnu Rasheed, G. Ranauraage, who was found fallen from a building on to the roof of an adjacent warehouse, has stated tonight that her transfer to Malaysia and all related arrangements for treatment have been confirmed through National Social Protection Agency (NSPA).

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mohamed Mu'umin told Mihaaru News that Yumnu will be taken to Malaysia on Sunday's Sri Lankan Airlines flight.

Along with the flight, the government has also offered to cover all costs of Yumnu's treatment, he said.

"However, as we want to take her abroad as soon as possible, we are checking if a charter flight can be arranged through NSPA ahead of Sunday. We are getting support from NSPA," he said.

NSPA does not, as a norm, arrange charter flights for the transfer of patients.

Mu'umin said that the family has not yet decided on which hospital in Malaysia she will be taken to.

Yumnu is currently receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital. When asked about her condition, Mu'umin replied that what is needed is the well wishes and prayers of all. He, however, confirmed that doctors have granted permission for her to be flown out.

Mu'umin is Yumnu's brother in law, and holds power of attorney to speak about Yumnu's treatment.

On April 18, Yumnu was found fallen from what is believed to be the 9th floor of H. Fentoniya, on to the roof of an adjacent warehouse at H. Mitaaz.

Prior to going to H. Fentoniya, Yumnu had been with a group of nine at Ma. Maandhooge Dhekunuge. Police have now released the names of all these individuals.

Police have also banned travel bans on all these individuals. Although there were rumours that one of these persons, Aishath Layaali Iqbal, has since gone abroad, Police have dismissed these claims as false.

The one individual seen to have accompanied Yumnu to H. Fentoniya, Raudh Ahmed Zilal, was arrested yesterday evening, with the Criminal Court placing him in remand in custody for a period of five days today.
