Man sustains head injury in Hulhumale Phase two altercation

A man sustained a serious head injury in an altercation in Hulhumale' Phase two late last night.

The incident occurred around midnight near Hiyaa Tower 11.

Police confirmed that one of the victims suffered a head injury, while another sustained swelling across his back and abrasions on his elbows.

Both individuals were taken to Hulhumale' Hospital for treatment.

In addition to the assault, police said the assailants stole two mobile phones during the incident.

Authorities have not released further details as the case remains under investigation.
