Police are investigating an incident in which a teacher allegedly injured a student at Kandoodhoo School in Thaa atoll by twisting a student’s finger from the joint, dislocating it.

According to police, the incident involved a foreign teacher who is accused of twisting a student’s finger, causing a joint injury.

The student is currently receiving treatment at Veymandoo Health Centre.
