Case of teacher twisting and dislocating a student's finger under probe

Police are investigating an incident in which a teacher allegedly injured a student at Kandoodhoo School in Thaa atoll by twisting a student’s finger from the joint, dislocating it.

According to police, the incident involved a foreign teacher who is accused of twisting a student’s finger, causing a joint injury.

The student is currently receiving treatment at Veymandoo Health Centre.

No arrests have been made so far, and police say the investigation is ongoing. Further details have not been disclosed.
