A team from China is expected to arrive in Maldives next month to conduct feasibility studies for 50 council buildings that are to be developed through aid from the Chinese government.
In an interview with PSM, Local Government Minister Adam Shareef said that the government aims to provide resources needed by councils. Under this, a project is being conducted to construct 50 office buildings for councils.
The minister announced that a team will arrive in Maldives next month to conduct feasibility studies for this project.
A letter of exchange on this project was signed last month by the Maldives and Chinese governments.
