President Muizzu returns to Maldives after Hajj pilgrimage

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have today returned to Maldives after completing this year's Hajj pilgrimage.

During the visit to Saudi Arabia, the President and First Lady visited the hotel where Maldivian pilgrims were staying and met with them.

After completing the pilgrimage, the President met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Bin Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Saudi Arabia's Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr Tawfig F Al Rabiah also paid a courtesy call on President Muizzu.

The President extended thanks for the hospitality and services extended to himself and Maldivian pilgrims by the Saudi government. He especially noted the ease provided to pilgrims this year through Maldives being included in the Makkah Route Initiative.
