Islamic Ministry launches app providing Hajj and Umrah information

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has launched an app titled 'Haaji MV' which provides information about Hajj and Umrah.

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that all information available in the app has been verified by the ministry.

He said that the app will include duas and other Hajj and Umrah related information, making the information available on phones without the need to carry books.

- Tawaf

- Sauyu

- Duas from Quran and Sunnah

- Videos of information related to Hajj and Umrah

- Videos of the history of Makkah and Medinah

The minister said that this is the first version of the app, and will be developed further in the future. He said that aim of introducing this app is to offer added convenience to pilgrims.
