Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said that at this time, cases of vomiting and diarrhoea are most prevalent in the Male' region.
Statistics shared by HPA indicate that there is a rise in reported cases of vomiting, diarrhoea and influenza, most highly noted in the Male' region.
Between June 15 and July 5, 3,763 cases of vomiting and diarrhoea were reported countrywide. Of this, 2,370 cases were in the Male' region.
While in the same period, number of cases of influenza reported come to 239, 228 of this were from the Male' region.
HPA advices the public to frequently wash hands with soap as a preventive measure.
