Maldivian signs with Hawks to begin seaplane services in Kamadhoo

Maldivian has signed with Hawks Hotels to begin seaplane services to Baa atoll Kamadhoo.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had taken part in the signing ceremony. He began his Baa Atoll visit today, with Kamadhoo being the first island.

Maldivian Managing Director Ibrahim Iyas signed on behalf of the company, with General Manager Hussain Aman signing on behalf of The Hawks Pvt Ltd.

Many people visit Kamadhoo during Eid and extended holidays, which has a growing guesthouse business. Kamadhoo Council has stated that the start of seaplane services to the island will see an expansion in tourism.

The ceremony saw the signing of a new building for Kamadhoo School as well.

A 24-hour ATM service had also been inaugurated in Kamadhoo today.
