Power outage in some areas of Male' and Hulhumale'

Areas in Male' and Hulhumale' are facing power outages once again.

STELCO said that the power outage was caused by technical issues, assuring that their teams are working on restoring power at the earliest.

In recent days, Male' and Hulhumale' has faced two power cuts lasting hours. The first time, electricity services were disrupted for nine hours, while on August 9, a second power cut lasted about two hours.

STELCO said at the time that those power cuts had also been caused due to technical issues, saying they were taking measures to ensure it does not reoccur.
