Seaplane service to start in Thoddu in February next year

Highlighting Thoddu’s importance in the tourism sector, the President noted that the island plays a key role in the national economy. In addition to tourism, Thoddu is home to around 2,000 residents who are actively involved in fisheries and agriculture.

President Muizzu assured that the government will continue to work closely with the people and encouraged citizens to voice their concerns to the administration.

Island Aviation previously stated that the main goal of the seaplane service is not only to serve resorts, but also to support guesthouse businesses and provide transportation for the general public.
