Deceased in Hulhumale' a Nepalese man, no signs of foul play: Police

Police have identified the deceased found in Hulhumale' Water Theme Park on Monday as a Nepalese man who had been reported missing earlier. Police also confirmed that the investigation has not shown any signs of foul play involved in the death. 

The deceased has been identified as Rupan Thapa Magar, 29, through forensic testing, Police said. Magar had been reported missing on August 21. 

Police said that the case is under investigation, and did not disclose any further details. 

Police have earlier said that the body had been severely decomposed even when discovered, posing challenges in identification.
