Yesterday, MDP opened up primary nominations for individuals who want to run for next year's Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
MDP has stated that those who are interested have until 30th September to submit their interest.
They have also stated that the primary will be open to those who have expressed interest and that the timeline will be announced at a later date.
<b>Conditions for those who express interest:</b>
- They must be an MDP member.
- Meet all the requirements stipulated in Article 12 of the Local Councils Election Act.
- Meet all the requirements stipulated in Article 8 of the Rules and Regulations of the Women's Development Committee.
MDP has asked interested party members to submit the proper Google form, along with submitting the Department of Judicial Administration's Criminal and Debt Record Clearance form.
