Autopsy to be conducted following death in a B. atoll resort

Police have said today that an autopsy is to be conducted following the death of a Maldivian youth in a resort in Baa atoll. 

Police said that they received reports of the death of a 21 year old Maldivian man in the resort on August 23. 

Police did not disclose the name of the resort. 

A decision has been made to conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death, Police said. 

The matter is under investigation, and Police declined from providing further details at this time.
