World Cleanup Day 2025 event at Kamadhoo

This year's World Cleanup Day event, which is held every year on 20th September, was held at B. Kamadhoo.

The Maldivian branch of the international association that organizes the event, Let's Do It!, has stated that the official venue for World Cleanup Day 2025 is going to be at Kamadhoo. They said that even though the event is only at Kamadhoo, they hope that residents of other islands join in on the occasion.

Many parts of the world will also be participating in World Cleanup Day, an event that seeks to bring awareness to the global trash issue and to familiarize all who partake.

This event has taken place in Maldives in previous years as well, with thousands of people taking part. Last year's event location was at K. Dhiffushi.

Let's Do It! Maldives has stated that beaches, shorelines and the islands themselves will be cleaned, with the event being one of the biggest of its kind across the globe. The organization said that this is an event where the whole world comes together to clean up the environment and the places in which they reside.
