Applications open for HRCM membership

The President's Office has announced that applications are now open for one position as member of Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM). 

Deadline for sending in applications is set at 12pm on September 22. Applications will be accepted on all working days between 8:30am and 12pm, the President's Office said. 

Application forms can be downloaded from the President's Office website. 

The position has become vacant because the term of one member of the commission is nearing an end. 

The term of HRCM President Mariyam Muna is set to end earliest, in November this year. 

Two members were appointed to HRCM yesterday as well, filling two positions vacated due to term ending.
