Maldives to host first-ever tax forum to address modern challenges

The Maldives is set to host its first-ever national Tax Forum, bringing together business leaders, regulators, and subject experts to prepare for the challenges arising from modern changes in the tax sector.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) announced that the forum, scheduled for this Saturday, will focus on exchanging information and ideas regarding the implementation of international best practices in taxation within the Maldivian context.

The forum, titled "Shaping a Smarter Tax Future Together," will be held at Meeruma Hall this Saturday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The event will feature presentations from a large number of experts, both local and international. In addition to individual expert presentations, the forum will include five panel discussions.
