Temporary Parking Zones for Four-Wheelers Designated in Hulhumale'

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced temporary parking zones for four-wheelers in Hulhumale', aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving road safety.

The initiative, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, is designed to reduce street parking in Hulhumale' and improve traffic flow, particularly in areas prone to congestion.

The newly designated parking spaces can accommodate a total of 1,964 vehicles.

The temporary parking areas include:

HDC said the measures will provide convenience and safety for both vehicles and road users.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has previously acknowledged the parking challenges in Male' and stated that special measures, including the construction of dedicated parking buildings, are being taken to provide a permanent solution.
