MPL staff suffers seizure, passes away at work site

A staff member at Maldives Ports Limited has passed away today after suffering a seizure and falling between two tug boats. 

MPL said that the man had been immediately rushed to hospital, but had died while under treatment. 

Police said that they received reports of an MPL staff falling between two tugs boats at the Commercial Harbour at around 11am today. 

Police said that the hospital has since confirmed that he has passed away. 

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
