State Minister of the Home Ministry Abdul Majeed dismissed from post

The State Minister of the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology, Abdul Majeed, has been dismissed from his position.

The spokesperson for the Home Ministry, Fathimath Rifaath, told "Mihaaru" that Majeed was removed from his post today.

Regarding the reason for his dismissal, she stated that he was removed under the powers vested in the President.

However, she did not provide further details.

At the time of his dismissal, Abdul Majeed served as the head of the Foreign Labor Department, which manages expatriate affairs under the Home Ministry.

Additionally, he was the official in charge of overseeing the affairs of the Department of National Registration (DNR) until now.
