Maldives condemns terrorist attack in Pakistan

The Maldivian government has condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on 31 January.

In a statement, the government reiterated its firm opposition to terrorism, violent extremism and criminal acts “in all their forms and manifestations”.

 Maldives extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and said it stood in solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan during the period of mourning.

It also wished a swift and full recovery to those injured in the attack.
