Huraa to lease 17 plots for guesthouses

K. Huraa Council has announced that 17 land plots from the island are to be leased for guesthouse operations in a bid to advance local tourism. 

In a bid announcement, the council said that 17 land plots from the newly reclaimed area are to be leased for 50 years for guesthouse development. 

Bid forms are priced at MVR 25,000. Bid requests and form issuance will remain open until 12:30pm on February 12. 

The council said that the bid information meeting will be held at 12:15pm on February 15 at the council office. 

Interested parties are requested to submit tender proposals by 1pm on February 26. 

Tender proposals should be submitted after completing the bid form and attaching all required documents, the council said.
