60 year old falls from Male' Hiyaa building, in hospital

A 60 year old man is currently receiving treatment in hospital after falling from the fifth floor of Male' Hiyaa 1. 

Police confirmed the reports, and stated that the man has been rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment. Details of injuries sustained in the fall have not been disclosed. 

Police stated that they received reports of a man having fallen from Male' Hiyaa 1 at 6:50am today. 

Footage of the man being carried into an ambulance is circulating on social media. The footage shows bandages wrapped around the man's head and arm.
