Police have launched a search for a youth who has been missing since he left home a week ago.
The youth reported missing in Male' is Ibrahim Imthiyaz Ali, 30, of H. Favorite Villa.
Family had seen him at home between 12pm and 1pm on February 13. He had then gone out, and has not been heard from since, according to the family. Police said that the family had reported him missing on Tuesday evening.
Once the report was lodged, Police said they had shared the information with all relevant departments and launched a search for him. However, he has not been found to date.
Police appealed for any information about Imthiyaz or his whereabouts to be reported through the Henveiru Police Station number 9400053 or Police hotline 3322111.
