Police have arrested a man for being in possession of child pornography.
Police said today that they had arrested a man for uploading pornographic images and video of children on Google drive, and storing them on various electronic devices.
The man, arrested on February 13, has been identified as Ali Najih Ahmed, 29, of Hulhevi, B. Kudarikilu.
Police said that the court initially placed him in remand in custody for five days, which has since been extended by an additional five days.
Police's Family and Child Protection unit is investigating the case.
