President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will greet members of the public on the morning of Eid al-Fitr, the President’s Office said today.
Eid greeting will be held at the President’s official residence, Muliaage, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on the day of Eid.
The President and First Lady have invited members of the public, government officials, foreign dignitaries, and representatives of companies and private organizations in Maldives to attend the event.
The President’s Office also encouraged as many children and youth to attend with their families.
Those attending the greeting will be able to enter Muliaage through the main gate on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu, President's Office said.
According to the Islamic calendar, Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall on Friday, March 20, this year.
