The Ministry of Islamic Affairs signed agreements last night with multiple companies to implement Islamic development projects in 14 islands.
The ministry said that these projects fall under President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's pledges related to Islam.

The agreements were signed at a special ceremony held at the Islamic Centre's conference hall. Minister Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed signed the agreements on behalf of the ministry, with representatives from the respective companies.

- Agreement with Venza Company to establish branches of the National Centre for Holy Quran in K. Maafushi, M. Mulah, ADh. Maamigili, GDh. Gahdhoo and S. Maradhoo
- Agreement with Ayyabe Partners to establish branches of the National Centre for Holy Quran in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo and Th. Veymandoo.
- Agreement with White Link Pvt Ltd to establish branches of the National Centre for Holy Quran in L. Fonadhoo
- Agreement with SAS e Construction to develop an Islamic Centre in B. Eydhafushi
- Agreement with Afami Maldives Pvt Ltd to establish branches of the National Centre for Holy Quran in N. Manadhoo, R. Dhuvaafaru and N. Velidhoo, and to develop a 500-person capacit mosque in GA. Maamendhoo
