The Maldives Customs Service has announced it is seeking to recruit 48 Assistant Officer Trainees across its offices.
The post carries a basic salary of MVR 5,000, with additional allowances including MVR 4,660, a daily attendance allowance of MVR 75, as well as food allowance, overtime and holiday pay. Total monthly earnings are estimated at around MVR 11,000.
Applicants must have GCE O Level or an equivalent qualification, with at least a D pass in two subjects and a minimum C pass in secondary school examinations, along with passing a physical fitness test set by Customs.
Alternatively, candidates with a Level 3 qualification in a field related to customs work, along with at least a C pass in O Level Dhivehi, or those who have completed the National Service Programme or a relevant national training programme with certification, are also eligible.
The opportunity is open to applicants aged between 18 and 30, with age calculated as of the end of this month.
The application deadline is Wednesday, 1 April.
