Housing Development Corporation (HDC) was contracted today to build flats in ADh. Mahibadhoo and Kunburudhoo of the same atoll.
The Housing Ministry stated that 100 housing units will be built in Mahibadhoo and 25 housing units in Kunburudhoo. Managing Director of HDC, Ali Zuhair, signed the two agreements on behalf of the company. State Minister Ismail Hameed signed on behalf of the Ministry.
The project to build housing units in Mahibadhoo was contracted to be completed within 540 days. The Kunburudhoo project was contracted to be completed in 480 days.
Under this project, three-bedroom flats will be constructed on both islands.
