New Radiant, Odi and TC Sports advance to League Cup semi-finals

New Radiant, TC Sports, and Odi Sports have secured their places in the semi-finals of the FAM League Cup, joining Maziya, who had already secured their spot earlier in the week.

TC Sports earned their spot with a 2-1 win over Mahibadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya on Sunday evening, while New Radiant secured a 2-0 victory over Odi Sports.

Maziya currently top the table with nine points from three matches, followed by New Radiant on six points. Odi and TC have four points each, while Mahibadhoo have zero points.

The final positions on the table which will determine the semi-final matchups will follow the conclusion of the group stage on Wednesday.

Odi will go up against Maziya Wednesday evening, while New Radiant will play against Mahibadhoo later that night.

The semi-final format pits the first-placed team against the fourth-placed team, and the second and third teams going up against each other.

The FAM League Cup has served as a replacement for the Dhivehi Premier League, which remains delayed due to the Football Association of Maldives' (FAM) ongoing constitutional reform process and upcoming elections.
