League Cup: Maziya gets MVR 300,000, Odi gets MVR 150,000 and Mahibadhoo gets MVR 50,000

Maziya, Champions of the FAM League Cup which concluded on Wednesday, is to receive a prize of MVR 300,000.

Maziya won 4-0 against Odi Sports in the final.

In a ceremony held after the final match, Maziya, as Champions, were presented with the trophy and medals, while runner-up Odi received medals. Fair play team Mahibadhoo was also presented with a symbolic cheque.

FAM decided on MVR 150,000 as a prize for runner-up team Odi Sports. Mahibadhoo is set to receive MVR 50,000.

FIFA deposited USD 50,000 to FAM for this tournament which was held outside the official football season. The funds are to be used as prize money and for logistics and administrative purposes.
