Suzain to be appointed New Radiant Coach

A New Radiant Club Official has said that former National Team Coach Ali Suzain is going to be appointed as Coach for the club. 

"Chairman Ahmed Mubeen has arranged this a while ago," the official said, on condition of anonymity. 

Suzain is also holding discussions with some players regarding transfer to New Radiant, Mihaaru News reports. 

The position was most recently filled by Sobah Mohamed Ibrahim. Sobah led the team during the FAM League Cup held in April/May as well. Sobah has now been appointed as Coach for the National Under-17 team by FAM. 

Under a deal with Super United Sports (SUS), New Radiant is working on qualifying for the first division through an opportunity granted by SUS not competing in the league. 

However, New Radiant Chairman Mubeen previously told Mihaaru that the club is preparing for tournaments it is scheduled to play in. 

"The club will compete in the division it is in. We are building up the team to compete where it should," he said in a previous interview with Mihaaru News. 

Suzain is also the Chair of the FAM Diamond Jubilee Committee. Mubeen serves as his deputy on this committee.
