Odi Sports has closed the point gap between them and first place Maziya to five points after beating TC Sports with a score of 3-0.
Maziya, who have won every match they've played yet, sits at the top of the leader board with 30 points.
Odi's win last night at the national football stadium sees them secure 25 points in 10 matches.
Due to Odi captain Mohamed Rasheed (Hokey) suffering a seizure in the last game played by Odi during the first round of the league, he was not given the opportunity to play in last night's game. The team was led by Vice Captain Ibrahim Waheed Hassan (Ibbe) in his stead.

Of the three goals scored by Odi, two of them were scored by Muzdhan Hassan, with him securing the lead for his team as well.
Odi's Ahzam Rasheed lobbed the ball without looking from TC's half in the 17th minute, with Muzdhan on the receiving end of it right on the penalty box's line. He controlled the ball with his foot and into the air, with him scoring a header even with two defenders challenging him. TC's goalkeeper Daniel Emmanuel Eibio moved to defend against it but due to him being out of position, the ball proceeded to soar into goal over his head.
Odi Vice Captain Waheed scored the second goal before the first half ended, with Ahzam assisting once again with a long ball from within the center circle in TC's half.

Waheed headed the ball into goal, increasing their lead even further.
Odi's third goal was scored by Muzdhan in the sixth minute of extra time.
Waheed sent a low ball from the middle of their half to Muzdhan, who was in the middle of TC's half. Muzdhan raced into the penalty box, with TC's defenders attempting to tackle him but to no avail. Muzdhan shot the ball on the side of goalkeeper Daniel, skating past the goal post.
