Odi Sports Club beat Victory 1-0 yesterday evening at the Henveiru Stadium in the FAM Women's Football League, keeping them in the running in winning the league.
Odi Sports Captain Saliya scored the only goal of the game in the fifth minute of the second half. She scored the goal with a free kick from the middle.
Six teams are competing in the all new FAM's Women's League this year. Each team has one match left to play.

Odi Sports and Maziya both have 10 points from the four games they played. These two teams are undefeated in the league. Both teams had a 15 goal advantage, with Maziya slightly ahead with a 17 goal advantage and Odi having a 16 goal advantage.
The league will be decided on Tuesday after the final match, with Odi and Maziya playing against each other.
Victory (3rd place) and New Radiant (4th place) have five points from four matches.

TC Sports sits at 5th place after defeating Bis Buru Sports Club with a score of 1-nil. Sri Lankan forward Praveena Perera scored the winning goal for TC in that match.
Bis Buru currently has no points. Their last game will be playing against Victory on Monday. New Radiant and TC will be playing on Sunday.
