Maldives to start U-20 SAFF Championship versus Sri Lanka

Maldives' first game in the U-20 SAFF Championship will be against Sri Lanka.

The championship will begin on 23rd March, with the teams having been decided today. Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan are in Group A.

The first game of the championship will be played between Nepal and Bhutan. The match between Maldives and Sri Lanka will be played later that night. The starting ceremony of the championship will be held that night.

Group B has the previous champion team India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The first match of Group B will be played on the evening of 24th March between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Maldives' second match will be played on the night of 25th March against Bhutan. India's first match will be played on 26th March against Pakistan.

Maldives' final group stage match will be played on the evening of 27th March against Nepal. The top two teams from both groups will play in the semi-finals.

Both the semi-final games will be played on 1st April. The final match will be played on the night of 3rd April.
