Maldivians Farhaan and Jamshad have worked for the Volleyball Thailand League as Technical Officials for league matches.
The two officials worked for a total of 9 matches in the league that was held from 26th February to 1st March.
Volleyball Association Maldives (VAM) President Mohamed Latheef told Mihaaru News that Farhaan and Jamshad were given the opportunity via discussions of an exchange program agreement between VAM and Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA).

He stated that discussions are currently being held between VAM and TVA regarding the official agreement for moving forward with the exchange program.
"Technical Officials from Thailand will also come to Maldives and work in tournaments," said Latheef.
Before the actual technical work began, Farhaan and Jamshad were given the opportunity to observe the first match.

"They worked in their capacity as Technical Officials after that first match," said Latheef.
As per VAM, Farhaan and Jamshad underwent training for state-of-the-art volleyball technology such as the AVC's Data Volley, the Video Challenge System and the E-Scoresheet, with them getting hands-on experience for the AVC's Volleyball Information System (VIS) and Match Management System (VIMS).
