Football Association of Maldives (FAM) is not the only thing about the country's football that has deteriorated and fallen to ruin. Football grounds managed by the country's most well know sports association is also derelict and in a state of disrepair. The two Turf Grounds located in the Maafannu Ward of Male' City, alongside their resources and equipment are now damaged beyond repair. The Mini Turf Ground, established with the aid of AFC has also relinquished its use and become a parking zone for cars. The larger two Turf Stadiums are utilized for training the rising young age of football as well as the 1st Division footballers. However, some resources are in the facilities are decrepit, compelling footballers to suffice without them. Owing to these losses and damages, significant doubts now surround the country's football industry.
